About the Artist

Welcome to My World of Letting Ideas Flow Through the Flo
"Flow Through The Flo"

• I have always been an artist starting at a very young age. I have great memories of being with my father and observing nature. We would take time to sit and watch the grass flow like green waves after a spring rain, ripple of water sparkling in the sunlight or observe the multitude of creatures on our farmland, the rolling clouds with their ever changing images. I would also sit with my grandma- who taught me how to blend colors and paint and I would also be encouraged by my mother to explore and just be.
• I continued along any path getting B.F.A., Teaching Endorsement and then a M.A.E.-teaching grade school, high school and college students throughout the years while coordinating summer art camps for kids, taking on Chairperson for Nebr. Artist Guild convention (1985), taking care of a farm and family and an art supply store and a photography business at various times in my life.
• My current work is connected to dreams, meditations, energy work and other everyday connections. A lot of the time the title, the story, the composition and the colors are given to me in a dream or meditative state.
• Recent shows include: SVAC- artist studio tours (2017-2018), Made in Clarkdale Dec. show 2015-2017
• One Woman Shows include: Alwun House- 2014- Phoenix Az., Melting Heart -2013Phoenix Az., Elements-Kearney Nebr. -2000, Opera House- Minden Nebr.-2000, Kearney Public Library-Kearney Nebr.1991and 1996
• Group Exhibitions with Glendale City Arts Council, Alwun House 206-2014
• Permanent collection work housed at Glendale Park and Recreation 2012
• Mural Work commissioned for private homes since the early 1980's in Southwestern style, children rooms-clouds, roads, underwater scenes, ocean scenes or what ever the client desires.
